1. Purification at Sebatu

Sebatu Holy Water and Purification Templeis located in Sebatu Village and just 10 minutes walking distance from Puri Gangga Resort The beautiful and attractive Sebatu Temple is a unique place can become your spiritual destination. Armed with beautiful and natural scenery as well as crystal clear water, you will perceive truly magical atmosphere upon entering the temple courtyard. As the story by word of mouth, the Sebatu Temple is very sacred and magical. Sebatu Temple is one of the holy spring water temple in Bali, was built in homage to the God of preserver (Wisnu), who rules over water and here one finds a number of natural spring and waterspouts. The Balinese believe that water is one of the forces of life. The etymology of GunungKawi means a fabricated mountain. It lies west of Sebatu village, which is elovated and its name means slipping on a stone. Procedures of the purification rite are first preceded with offering the bantenpejati in the shrine and invoke for God’s blessing. Then, say prayers by using the kwangen oblation. Having got holy water, the kwangen is brought down to location of the purification rite. Afterward, put it between the eyebrows, and after sprinkled with holy water the kwangen is removed

Puri Gangga resort proudly share the unique skill & secret recipe. Under guidance of our Balinese Chef, you could learn how to prepare local delicious food. Cooking class venue is inside of hotel area, it's a Balinese traditional style compound near pool side area. Morning session starts at 07.00 with Tegallalang traditional market visit for approximately one hour, where you will find Balinese spices and vegetables displayed and sold in traditional way. Be in our traditional cooking venue at 11.00

Chef will share his secret dishes recipes, and followed with your memorable Lunch. Take home our secret recipe as well as the cooking class certificate and impressed your family & friends with your Balinese cooking skills. Reservation is required in advance and it is subject to availability. Our chef will be pleased to meet you for further arrangement.

Enjoy for free morning yoga session conducted by a Balinese instructor in spacious yoga room over looking to the jungle and Gunung Kawi temple.

Yoga involves ancient spiritual practices and gentle postures that are designed to keep the body fit, build emotional well-being, develop mental clarity, and as an effective relaxation technique. Traditionally seen as a mean to achieve spiritual enlightenment, our yoga masters will guide you through a series of classes to help you learn how to relax, meditate, and harmonize your body and soul in the complex world long after you have left Bali.

6. Coconut Leaf Handicraft

We do have a lot of coconut trees around Puri Gangga Resort area and we introduce some handicraft i.e.: Capil Kelangsah (Balinese Hat from Coconut Leaf), Kise (Chicken Cage from Coconut Leaf) and Ngulat Kelangsah (Balinese Roof from Coconut Leaf).

7. Cycling

Sebatu area is popular with the temple area and we suggest trying with bicycles. Bicycles are available for hotel guests who may wish to explore Sebatu area on their own, or accompanied by a Puri Gangga Resort staff with optional charge. With bicycle ride will bring you closer to the citizen Sebatu area and also to better health.

9. Making Canang Demonstration

10. Morning Walk

Sebatu is quite small village; the trek is a relaxed 45 minute - 1 hour walk that allows one to experience some of scenic landscapes, traditional rice paddies, and the alluring river valleys. This remarkable excursion ends at another delightful rural village known as Blessing Place at Sebatu.
